For the past 30 years anglers have gathered for 2 days of amazing fishing, camaraderie and excitement with the common goal of making a difference in the lives of children. Both novice and experience anglers enjoy friendly competition among each other as they compete for first place in there division, along with prizes for largest and smallest fish. Each day anglers pick two tournament flies, fish caught on these flies will equal points towards their team.
The Cause Behind the Tournament
All proceeds from the tournament go to Four Corners Home for Children. This organization has been a loving and nurturing environment to over 1000 children since it was founded in 1953. Many of these children have came from neglected and abusive situation or simply never been given the opportunity of growth that FCHC provides. With ages ranging from newborn to teenagers, these children come to FCHC through many avenues and with a variety of life experiences.
FCHC campus is spread out over 16 acres located in Farmington, New Mexico in the Four Corners Region. They operate two children’s homes with the capacity to care for up to 20 children. Within the campus is a learning center, recreation area and small farm, where children learn to care for animals.
Through funds raised during the tournament, FCHC can continue to support these children by providing the basic needs and opportunities all children deserve. You can be a part of transforming young lives by participating in this tournament as an angler or by sponsoring an angler with a pledge.
Be a part of the exciting journey!
We would like to thank each of you that has participated in the success of the Bi-Fly Tournament over the past 30 years.
The programs that have been developed over the past years at FCHC are in direct correlation to the growing needs of the children we serve and the resources you have made possible as an angler, sponsor or volunteer.
Thank you for believing in the work we do and partnering with us to change the lives of the children who will become the leaders of tomorrow.
